v6 Earth-in-a-box
Experience Type: Novel/Concept
Current Plan: I'll just make it happen don't worry about it
Basic Plot: After the mild success of the Infinity Machine series, Thrash Commander himself, in his old age, tries to bring together a group to build the "Earth-in-a-box", which ends up as a commercial failure. However, a few online celebrities embrace the idea, including one "Self Entitled Twatbag" who goes on to feature much of the "Earth-in-a-box" and everything it has to offer on his twitch stream/youtube channel. One of the main reasons people were against this idea, is that it would monitor your behavior, and create a digital version of you that you could interact with, and even continue to represent you after you died.
Fast forward to the year 21XX, humanity is on the brink of extinction, begging the alien races that have been monitoring Earth for help. In an act of desperation, the remaining leaders of Earth complete the "Earth-in-a-box" as a massive spaceship, which will carry not only most of the remaining humans and all of the species they could possibly save, but also that original "Earth-in-a-box" idea that was planted so long ago... a digital record of everything the human race could capture of their beloved home planet, and everything that happened on it.

And with that, the great spaceship "Earth-in-a-box" departs towards the stars, begging different alien species for refuge, although having seen human history and what we're like, most are very quick to refuse such a childish, adolescent species like us humans. We have more to worry about, we should probably solve our internal matters before we find a species willing to co-habitate with us humans.

Features: mostly just a bleak outlook on humanity tbh, but despite all of that, the main theme of the story is love, and the willingness to preserve everything that we are/were, despite the darkness that comes with it.
